Taught by a queer business owner with decades of experience in marketing, this six-session series focuses on practical strategies for promoting your business. Instead of pushing one-size-fits-all marketing tactics, we’ll identify the approaches that actually make sense for your business and the clients or customers you want to reach. And because the series brings together a cohort of entrepreneurs, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and build relationships with other queer business owners navigating similar challenges.

How it works
The series includes six 90-minute workshops held on Zoom every other week, as well as two optional “happy hours” where you can get to know other business owners. Between sessions, you’ll work on homework assignments that help you apply your learnings directly to your business. Each workshop also includes time to discuss questions, share progress, and learn from one another’s experiences.
To check in, keep you motivated, and help you navigate bumps in the road, the instructor will have a 1:1 meeting with you one month after the series is over.
Sessions are not recorded, but participants receive copies of the presentation materials.
You may invite one colleague or employee to attend with you. Because the sessions build on one another, at least one of you should attend every meeting.

schedule
If you’re ready to explore a clearer, more effective approach to marketing — and connect with other queer entrepreneurs — we’d love to have you join the next cohort.
When you register, you will be asked to choose a cohort: either Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. See the exact dates below. We will do our best to match you with your preferred cohort. If we cannot, we will email you and let you know about other options.
If you’re not ready to register, join our email list to be notified of future dates!

accessible pricing
We’ve seen the powerful ways that good marketing can transform a business when it is struggling. To make this program accessible to entrepreneurs who need it most, each cohort includes pay-as-you-wish registration options.
This pricing structure is designed to support business owners who could benefit from marketing support but may not currently have the resources to invest in it.

Who is leading the workshops?
A queer small business owner with decades of experience in marketing. Learn more about her here!
Do I have to be LGBTQ to participate?
No. Straight allies are welcome. Please join us with openness, humility, and a willingness to listen and learn. Our goal is to create a space where queer experiences are honored and everyone participates with care and respect.
How do I know if I qualify for “pay as you wish” pricing?
We want this workshop to be accessible to small business owners in a wide range of financial situations. If the standard price is manageable for you, choosing it helps sustain the program and makes lower-cost participation possible for others. If paying the full price would create financial strain, you’re welcome to pay as you wish and contribute an amount that feels manageable. No explanation is required.
Do I have to attend every workshop in the series?
Each session/workshop builds upon the one before it, so it’s important that you attend all of them. You may invite one employee or colleague to join you; if you can’t make it they should attend and share their notes with you later. The sessions are not recorded but you will receive the instructor’s presentation materials (slide decks) after each one.
Do you offer refunds?
It depends on when you cancel. Cohorts are intentionally kept small. Each registration helps determine whether the cohort reaches capacity— meaning your spot may prevent someone else from registering. If you sign up and later realize you can’t attend, please email the instructor as soon as possible. You will receive a refund as follows:
